Summer fun

We went swimming with friends yesterday. Plus, we have a couple of friends staying with us until Monday. 

Dinner with friends

It was a friend's birthday, and we met up for a birthday dinner. Caboose was the life of the party. He explained the great tragedy of how his older brother could no longer armpit fart due to his underarm hair. 

While the cat's away

These two have enjoyed staying up late with no one to yell at them. With Oldest away, they have played and played. I hear them squeal with delight, run around, sneak cheese and goldfish crackers late at night. I took these photos around 11 am yesterday-

Volcanoes

I used to do this simple "experiment" with Oldest quite often.  I realized the other day I had not done it with Princess and Caboose.  They loved it as much as Oldest used to.

The kids saw a cool tree. Caboose wondered if gnomes lived in there. Or, if there could be a corpse!

What a bargain!

I found a couple of kids on sale yesterday! 

We were grabbing cheap snacks before heading out to see "Finding Dory." We really enjoyed the movie. 

What game?

Apparently, there was a big basketball game on last night. I love how Oldest is trying to look interested. 

Oldest left today to spend a few weeks with his Nanny and Papaw and cousins. I'm sure he will have a great time. 

Digging it at dirt cheap

We went to Greenwood yesterday to help wish Bops a Happy Father's Day. We had fun shopping and visiting. Hopefully we didn't annoy poor Bops too much, we sure love him. 

 We also want to wish Papaw a Happy Father's Day too, we sure love him as well. Poor Mr Copper Coin is working today. 

Caboose

We would be so bored without Caboose to make us laugh. I woke up the other morning to find him asleep on the floor-

He apparently had a snack and then rested his head on the stuffed cat, Skippy Jon Jones. 

Even his little feet poking out cracked me up. 

And this is him bored waiting on Princess to finish dyslexia therapy. 

Summer Fun

A friend of mine felt ill yesterday, so her daughter came over to play. They all had fun. 

This girl is a picky eater, but she liked my spaghetti. She said it tasted like Amerigo's. I feel so honored, ha! 

Painters

Grammy Museum

We took a spur of the moment road trip to Cleveland, Ms to look around DSU and go to the Grammy Museum. We were highly impressed. We all had a great time there. Even the not easily impressed teenager enjoyed it. 

We stopped by an Indian burial mound in Winterville on our way home.
