Scouts

Oldest was in the color guard tonight at the pack meeting. They got to dress up in their Halloween costumes afterwards. I couldn't help but laugh at how cute they were going out with the flags and accidentally hitting the top of the door frame. Oldest earned a red bird pin, and didn't mean to tell everyone he had on a ninja costume. He was highly embarrassed. Oldest is growing up so fast. He told me if he sees his crush more after school then he needs to work on his speech. His best friend already has a girlfriend .

Fall Festival

The school had a Fall Festival last night, and the kids had a great time. We were not home at all yesterday for me to load the play. This week has been very very busy. Maybe over the weekend....

4th Grade play

Oldest was in a play this morning, "Why Mosquitos Buzz in Your Ears." They all did really well. I'll try to post a video tomorrow.

Dinner Outside

These two ate dinner outside tonight. Caboose is in the "get naked" stage. He wants to take his clothes off as soon as he gets home from anywhere.

State Fair

The kids begged to go to the Fair, so we picked them up from school early to get in and park for free. They rode rides and ate junk food. Those little tickets are so expensive, but they had a great time on this beautiful day.

House Maintenance

Mr. CopperCoin has a "staycation," so we are using it to do home repairs. We seem to have many. We power washed the patios, now we are replacing rotting wood. We still need to paint the exterior. I have cleaned and reorganized. It feels great to have a "home makeover."

Enjoyable Saturday.

I had fun junking at garage sales. I found a prize piece of pottery. We went to the art museum festival, the kids acted crazy. Sometimes they are just not fit for public.
