Best Friends

Oldest was so happy Saturday. He finally got to ride his bike around the neighborhood with his good friend, and his friend spent the night with us.
They spent most of the evening creating science experiments.

Riding Around

Oldest was finally able to try out his new bike yesterday. He rode to the stop sign and back several times. Unfortunately, none of his friends were home and he said he wasn't feeling well. It seems as though the boys caught the crud.
I love how Princess is running alongside Oldest.

Christmas 2012

We were truly blessed this Christmas. The kids had both sets of Grandparents here.

Ornaments

The kids had fun filling their own clear ornaments last night.

Gingerbread

We decorated gingerbread men and a house... No one likes real Gingerbread here.

Teacher Gifts

7 batches of home made stained glass candy were completed last night. Now, if I can get them to school safely....

Cookies and Salt Dough

We tried a new salt dough recipe with cornstarch and baking soda. It did not turn out well. However, the cookies turned out well.

Candy Canes

We put together party favors for two class parties. Princess has candy cane mice for her dance party, and Oldest has sour candy canes with glow in the dark snowflakes attached. We were going to make salt dough ornaments today, but we ran out of time.

Lego Advent Calendar

The boys really love their Lego advent calendars. Caboose has last year's (scored it at Dirt Cheap 90% off), and Oldest has this year's. I had no luck finding a girl advent calendar, so Princess has a chocolate a day advent calendar. Good thing she loves chocolate.

Princess and the Flu

This is a photo Princess took of herself at the doctor's office. She has the flu and croup. Mr Coppercoin has back issues, and is even in physical therapy. Yes, we are all falling apart.

Tired

Caboose was a tired little Superman after school today, and Nafers the elf decided to take a little bath in some marshmallows.
