Thankful

Yesterday the kids and I went to see "Frozen."  The movie was very good. All three kids loved it. Because of them being sick, we had been cooped up for five days, so it was nice to get out.

Caboose and Princess are feeling a little better. Princess still has a low grade temp and a cough, and Caboose is still congested. I'm glad we had this week off from school so they could get better and stay in from the cold and rain. 

Another victim

The flu claimed another one. 

Harvest Festival, PowWow, and Flu

Princess had a PowWow this morning simultaneously as Caboose had a Harvest Festival.   I ran to one event, then the other.  Also, Caboose seemed warm this morning.  He said he wanted to go to school SO BAD, so I gave him ibuprofen and hoped it was just his hot naturedness. However, he was clingy as could be at his Harvest Festival. I had my suspicions...

Also, in the middle if all this, I rolled turkey up for Oldest's afternoon party. I managed to make it to his party, but I didn't take any pictures. All they did was eat, anyway. At this time Caboose is still clingy.... I grab the girls and we head to the doctor. Of course, not before warning Oldest that he needs to behave until I get home. It's really not him I'm worried about...

And...Caboose has the flu, continuing our sick streak through the month of November. He's so pitiful. He believes he has a disease. 

New Haircuts

Caboose got an ice cream treat with Daddy afterward his haircut, so he has an upside fown chocolate mustache.

Oldest and I thought the sunrise was beautiful this morning.

Princess has been helping me a lot in the kitchen. She likes to cook.  

Party time!

We had two parties to attend today. They overlapped each other, so Oldest was kind enough to stay with Caboose while I took Princess to another party.

All three kids had a great time. Even Oldest had a friend at the superhero party.

I love listening to Caboose play. He likes to make sounds.  He will just sit somewhere and yell, "boom boom boom!" This was him last night:

Exhausted

Oldest was very exhausted after his first day back at school. 

Scary Night

Last night Princess brought Caboose to our room, he was coughing like a dog. He was shaking and gasping for air. He didn't have a fever, but was clearly ill. He threw up and kept shaking. Mr Coppercoin took him to the ER while I stayed with the other two. They gave him two breathing treatments and sent him home. They said he has a viral infection, but if he has trouble breathing again to bring him in. All he was concerned about was he didn't want to throw up at school and couldn't understand why he didn't go today. 

He doesn't even look or act sick. 

Then, this morning, we sent Oldest back to school because he seemed to be better. He had a school play this morning. When he got up to sing he turned pale and almost fell. He was sent home. 

We are hoping all this sickness will go away. Especially since Mr Coppercoin has been working all day everyday, it seems. 

Just kidding

Sometimes he's my favorite because he still naps. 

Before noon

The kids are out of school today for parent teacher conferences. I'm keeping two extra kids. We began stepping stoned, painted rocks, took Oldest to pediatrician, (he has walking pneumonia, possibly), and walked around a lake- all before noon. There is no telling what the rest of the day has in store. 

Poor oldest.

Oldest is home sick from school with a temp of 101. 

Round 2

The kids trick or treated again last night. I think I am trick or treated out. Now I know the reason Halloween is one night of the year (usually).

Princess

I helped at Princess's school yesterday. Her class decorated cookies, painted pumpkins, trick or treated, and made artwork. 

She helped me make mummy dogs for supper. 

She was worn out from the busy day and fell asleep at 6!   Due to the weather, we can trick or treat again tonight.
