Book Fair

All week the kids have a book fair at school. They all picked out books, and I helped out at the book fair. Due to our past history with bugs, is it any wonder Caboose picked out "Bugs in my Hair!" by David Shannon?

Speaking of things along the bug line, we found a big garden spider outside. It just so happens Princess is on a spider unit in her class.

Also, the spider Lillie's are looking so pretty.

Feeling crafty

Sunday the kids made melty bead crafts and bracelets from beads. I made a necklace from broken jewelry pieces.

Soccer

Caboose played really well today. He kept his attention focused, led a couple of assists, and almost scored. We are so proud.

More Paris Pictures

I know everyone is tired of pictures from Paris.  These are the last, I promise.  These are from my big camera showing the details of the buildings and the beautiful churches there.

Below is the inside of a beautiful church named Saint Mary's....

Next, this is of a gargoyle on Notre Dame.  A pidgeon pooped on my head outside of Notre Dame..

Flying buttresses on Notre Dame...

A pretty sculpture in the Louvre..

A pretty Seine river..

One of many pretty details on a building...

A close up of locks on the love lock bridge..

I'm home!

After what felt like forever, we finally made it back to the USA. I even got a call from a French man telling me my luggage will be mailed back to the airport here.

Our last night in Paris we got kicked out of our flat because the dates were booked wrong. We managed to find a hotel.

Here is my last Paris sunset-

I'm so very happy to be home hugging my family. I missed them so much.

Day 8

We went to the Louvre today. It is amazing. There are armed guards outside, and many people. The art is so beautiful.

Day 7

We went to a large flea market, the Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen. It was a little high priced, but fun.

Weird paintings...

We rode the metro

On the street corners near the market, people sold corn steamed right there.
