Manic Monday

Princess has on yet another one of my jackets. She's lost three. 

Caboose was sleepy and sad he had to stop petting Stripe in the backyard so he could wait on the bus. I think it's safe to say we are ready for Spring Break. 

Welcome to Space

Princess had her second grade play today called "Welcome to Space."  It was really cute.

I've tried not to like him. But, he makes the kids happy.

Pen of many colors

I found a pen with multiple colors just like I loved when I was a kid. It looks like Princess likes the pen too.

Caboose is almost late every morning because he pets, holds, or feeds this crazy cat when he is supposed to be waiting on the bus. 

Happy Valentines Day!

The kids had Valentine parties and a fun run Friday.

Dramatic play

It's entertaining to watch and hear Caboose play. He said, "you don't call me useless you rascal!" Over the weekend he was pretty proud of himself  for spelling "ass" on letter blocks. 

Weekend recap

Caboose and Princess made a nest to camp out and watch tv in between bouts of jumping on the trampoline. Caboose is showing Oldest his "nonfiction" Star Wars book. Oldest asked him what nonfiction means. Caboose replied, "it means it's a real story." Then Oldest said, "Star Wars isn't real." Caboose said, "it's about a real movie."  

We watched "Hotel Transylvania 2," and this is what they created to watch the movie. 

Lots of beads

A friend of ours went to New Orleans and brought back a lot of beads. They gave Princess and Caboose a few. Caboose doesn't look excited here, but he was.

Princess has gone up four reading levels so far this year. Her long nights of reading and homework are paying off. I'm so proud of her.
